About this Event
Welcome to our 5th annual Tour de Earth Day, a slow-roll bike ecotour around the Charleston peninsula. Expect to hear from speakers along the way about urban farming, native plants, environmental racism, art for the planet, and more! The Tour will begin at Hampton Park at 2 PM and conclude around 5PM.
We're limiting the number of sign-ups to maintain a cohesive event, so if you're interested, please sign to reserve a spot. This is a BYOB event (Bring your Own Bicycle) but if you are in need of a loaner let us know ahead of time and we can provide one. You are also more than welcome to ride e-bikes, scooters, and skateboards. This is a family-friendly event so all are welcome and invited and kids ride for free!
We want to give folks an opportunity to learn more about the green work happening in their City, celebrate the Earth together, enjoy our rich environmental community, and turn a critical eye to where environmental justice issues remain. We hope to have you join us!
