A weekend long celebration of the life and legacy of David Confer. Friday 4:30pm @ 15th & P NW bike lane we will mark David’s 53rd birthday with a Tour de Bike Lane.
DC9 is hosting us afterwards for a happy hour. This was a well loved place for drinks, food and socializing after rides for us ?
Saturday begins with a social ride that will end at the historic Lincoln Theatre, where we can eat, drink and share stories about David.
The memorial celebration at the Lincoln Theatre is made possible by the wonderful folks at IMP Productions.
Catering by Suzy Q’s Barbecue, Chupacabra, and Dougie’s Backyard.
Bluejacket has produced a small batch of We Are Family, the Kolsch brewed in honor of David, especially for this event.
We will have a Gold Sprints competition with some AWEsome prizes, a space to throw dice, and music curated from David’s playlists and possibly some sets from his time as DJ Fathom.
Additional lighting and production equipment is made possible by our friends at Production Management One.
Sunday is a Take Out Alleycat, a fun ride through the four quadrants, with an after party & awards at The Pug. Don Juan’s is going to be bringing some of their fantastic pupusas for post race sustenance.
