Join EES teachers on a tour of the Belrose facilites of Pittwater Eco Adventures where they hold community and school events looking at the problems with plastics and how to recycle them. their Reshaping Waste recycling initiative would make a great Module 8 case study or could be used in depth studies.
This a chance to do some hands on plastic extruding, testing of materials to identify different plastics and have some fun.
Talk to the Pittwater Eco staff about field trips or incursions where they bring their plastics in a van to your school.
