Description:
In this beginner friendly ceramics class, you will learn basic ceramic sculpting techniques following instructor Trinity Embers step-by-step process. Students will be able to create a beautiful and unique sculpture while taking inspiration from and learning about Tougei – a traditional Japanese style of ceramics and culture.
This is an easy-going class, where students will have the freedom to create different projects with guidance from the instructor.
About the instructor:
Trinity Embers is a ceramicist of 5 years whose work is heavily derived from and inspired by the eastern arts. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Texas A&M University Kingsville and is the Co-founder of LTEmbers Creations, a small business that focuses on bringing opportunities to local artists as well as providing various art experiences to the community. Although specializing in sculptures, she also has experience in throwing and hand building, and has worked with various clay bodies. She is familiar with teaching all age groups and enjoys answering any and all questions one may have about art.
