Join us for an afternoon of wholesome fun and mingling. This gathering is the perfect opportunity to unwind, explore, and connect with the community in one of the world’s most renowned botanical gardens.

Agenda: It's Community Open Week at Kew, there will be a range of activities exploring the theme of Trees
🌼 Discover the secrets of Kew’s mighty giants and the many creatures that call trees their home
🌼 Picnic amidst the lush greenery
🌼 Immerse yourself in a mindful and relaxing weaving activity and create your own tree specimen to take home.
Full list of Sunday Sessions. We'll be attending some as a group but there is no obligation to attend them with us. As always, you're welcome to stick with the group or wander at your own pace.
We are working with Kew Gardens to improve accessibility to the gardens. Your entry is free when you purchase a ticket and enter with the group. Please return your ticket if you can no longer make it so that someone else can take your place.

About Touch Grass
Touch Grass is an outdoor community for queer women and non-binary people of colour.
We are committed to fostering community growth through outdoor gatherings and wellness-focused trips that encourage us to rekindle our relationship with nature. Our immersive experiences go beyond relaxation—it's about empowerment, wellness, and forging meaningful connections.
Our vision is for queer people of colour to see the outdoors as a space where we belong. A Natural England study found that White people are 70% more likely than Black and Asian people to spend time in the countryside. We want to change this. We deserve to reap the benefits of improved emotional well-being and physical health too.
We believe creativity and nature go hand in hand, which is why most of our events encourage you to embrace nature and your inner creative spirit.
