You’re invited to our 8th annual Touch a Truck for Treats event on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 10am - 12pm!Touch-A-Truck for Treats is a community event where families can see, touch, climb aboard and learn about our community’s many fascinating modes of transportation and the vital contribution public works professionals make every day. Find out why they are all such an important part of our community. There will also be lots of other cool modes of transportation to demo. This event will be “Trunk-or-Treat style” and located at the Grainger Stadium Parking Lot (400 E Grainger Ave, Kinston NC).
Come dressed in your best costume, hop in the driver’s seat, make some noise, push some buttons, ring a siren, get lots of candy, and have loads of fun! There will be more vehicles, free face painting, treats, and more surprises! Admission is your donation of any amount. All sponsorships and donations help us to fund this event and also support Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, StoryWalk Greene, StoryWalk Lenoir, and outreach initiatives.
