Join together at East Shore Unitarian Church with Lummi members of the House of Tears Carvers who will bring an honor pole dedicated to beloved Chief Tsilixw (Bill James), hereditary chief of the Lhaq’temish (Lummi) people. They will lead a blessing event and talk about their work with other Indigenous Nations and allies at the Clean Energy Justice Convergence in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, September 21 – 23. You are welcome to attend at any time during this family-friendly event, especially for the official blessing ceremony that starts at 6:00 p.m.
