About this Event
Each day, 17 people die while waiting for a life-saving organ transplant, while every 9 minutes, another person is added to the waiting list. Organ donation is rare and powerful gift that cannot be provided without support and collaboration between Texas Organ Sharing Alliance and our partnering hospitals. This 4-hour course provides insight into the organ donation process and how you can play a vital role in honoring decisions to donate whike giving hope to recipients and donor families.

- Brain Death and Circulatory Death
- Donation Discussions and Organ Allocation
- Personal Stories
This course provides healthcare workers with 4 CEUs if they are able to achieve a 90% on the quiz and stay for the entire course.
