Tortoise and the Hare 2026
What is this??? TEAM 816 Events hosts unique "run" formats with the goal of bringing the run community together and mixing up all paces and abilities of runners!
For 2026 the distance will be approximately 3 miles!
The format: 2 waves (tortoise and hares) - with the tortoise wave starting at 6:30pm and will include all runners down to a 8:00 pace. The hares will start at 6:38 sharp and will include all runners faster than 8:00 pace.
This split will create unique opportunities to chase each other to the line!
If you think you are on the edge of the split - run with the hares!
REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
- Entry to a crazy fun run event
- First post run drink from Vine Street Brewing
- Entry to prize raffles
- Secret swag item
* This event is not a "race" it is a run event!
