Anjula Gogia and May Lui (former co-managers of TWB) are very pleased to announce an upcoming celebration of the many wonderful years of the Toronto Women’s Bookstore. A group of community volunteers is meeting regularly on Zoom to plan this event.
Tuesday October 10, 2023
Doors at 5:30pm
The evening begins at 6:30pm
In person and livestreamed (livestream location TBA)
Free - advance registration will be required. Tickets will go on sale on September 1st, 2023.
Tickets are general admission and do not guarantee seating.
For guaranteed seating reserve a table to enjoy Lula’s tropical fusion menu before the show.

We are planning an evening of speakers, authors and performances, ending with DJs and dancing.
In the meantime, we have a few requests!
If you have any photos or poster images from the Toronto Women’s Bookstore, please send them and include all information you have including the month and year the photo was taken if possible. Images will be considered for possible inclusion in a slideshow we are preparing for the evening, Please send to [email protected].
For the evening we will also be creating a TWB memorabilia/archive space in the small room near the entrance of Lula Lounge. We are looking for items: posters (framed or not), t-shirts, mugs, and any other physical objects that people are willing to lend to us for this exciting evening. Please email us at [email protected] to let us know what you have (a photo of item(s) would also be great). Toronto-based only.
