About this Event

First things first. Our classes on Saturday the 13th were a massive hit. we ended up having twice as many participants as expected! I wanted to thank everyone who came out or intended to come out! ? ? ? ?


We will be continuing to host classes next week. These classes will continue to be free/Pwyc.


Schedule for Saturday, the 20th:

- **3:30 pm - 4:30 pm**: Sierra's Vinyasa Yoga? ? ?

- **4:30 pm - 5:15 pm**: Picnic and Hangout ? ? ?

- **5:15 pm - 6:15 pm**: Oliver’s Myofascial Release and Mobility?‍♀️ ? ?

- **6:30 pm - 7:30 pm**: Judith’s Women’s Self-Defense? ? ?️

As a little side note, I am super proud to say that we've been able to pay all of the workshop hosts for their time!


What to Expect:

If you join us for another rejuvenating afternoon on Toronto Island, where you can immerse yourself in a variety of wellness activities designed for all skill levels. Our classes offer a perfect blend of physical, mental, and emotional well-being in a serene outdoor environment! Whether you’re looking to enhance your flexibility, release tension, or learn practical self-defence techniques, we have something for everyone.


Sierra’s Vinyasa Yoga Class at 3:30 pm

This class will explore a range of mindfulness techniques to connect movement to breath. From gentle warm-ups to more challenging poses, expect a variety of asanas to increase strength, flexibility, and balance. All levels are welcome, so don’t worry if you’re new to yoga!


Picnic and Chat with Friends at 4:30 pm

After yoga, we’ll have a picnic break. Bring your snacks and join us from 4:30 to 5:15 for a chill hangout. It’s a great chance to relax and meet new friends in a beautiful setting. Enjoy the company of like-minded individuals in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.


Oliver’s Myofascial Release and Mobility Class at 5:15 pm

In this class, you will learn how to use a lacrosse ball to release trigger points across your body, empowering you to use this tool throughout your life. We will also cover useful mobility exercises to help loosen your shoulders, back, hips, and ankles. These techniques are super practical and can help you maintain better mobility and reduce tension.


Judith’s Women’s Self-Defense Class at 6:30 pm

Empower yourself with practical self-defence techniques in this class designed for women of all walks of life. Learn how to defend against common threats, increase your awareness, and build confidence in a supportive environment. Our instructor, Judith, will guide you through effective strategies and hands-on practice to ensure you feel safe and prepared. Let loose and hit some stuff, I promise its fun!
