Join guest instructor Julie Lukosaitis at artPOP and learn how to make custom glass beads. In this torch-fired glass class, you will learn how to heat glass to make different shaped beads and pull stringers for making designs and details on your beads. Several techniques are covered in class. You will choose your own colors of glass for your projects, choosing from a variety of transparent and opaque colors. Everyone will make 8-12 beads in a one day class. Want to work for two days or one? You can sign up for a single session or add a second day of bead making at a reduced cost (If signing up for Sat & Sun, you will receive a $30 rebate the first day of class).Each day, class runs from 9am-3pm with an optional hour to make jewelry or functional bead items with beads made in class. Optional session is from 3:00-4:00pm. Jewelry findings and other materials available will be provided by instructor for additional fee.
