Toranafest 2024, Supercruise.Saturday the 14th of September 2024. Proudly sponsored by Shannon’s Insurance and organized by Hunter Valley Torana Club this year will again see a large number of Holden Toranas cruising to a destination in the Hunter Valley.
Importantly start time will be 10:00am leaving from Club Maitland City located at 14 Arthur Street, Rutherford. Further details to come including cruise route and destination.
FREE to enter your Torana for the cruise, register your Torana if participating in the cruise to help us with coordinating this event.

Torana is derived from the indigenous word “to fly” so this year we’ll be cruising to the Lyskintyre Airfield. You will be able to buy a BBQ lunch & drinks on site or are welcome take your own. In appreciation for letting us use the facilities, we kindly request that participants make a gold coin donation at the gate.
There will be a driver briefing at 9.45am, cruise to start at 10am from Club Maitland City, Rutherford. All cars must depart the airfield by 2.30pm.
Directions (60kms round trip):
Start: Club Maitland City (14 Arthur St, Rutherford NSW 2320, Australia)
Head out of carpark, up ramp to round about & turn left
Turn left onto New England Hwy/A43
At the roundabout, go straight ahead and stay on New England Hwy/A43
Keep left to stay on New England Hwy/A43
Turn left onto Melbourne St
Turn left onto Pitnacree Rd
Continue straight onto Flat Rd (Pick up HVTC members!)
At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Paterson Rd
Stick left at the BP Servo and continue on Tocal Road
Slight left onto Maitland Vale Rd
Turn left onto Luskintyre Rd
Turn left onto Pywells Rd
Sharp left turn to continue on Pywells Road destination will be on the left

The Hunter valley Torana club are proudly supporting Ronald McDonald House and Dog Rescue Newcastle. Toranafest 2019 raised $25,000 for these charities.
