About this Event

Warm season lawns such as Centipedegrass, Zoysiagrass, Bermudagrass, and St. Augustinegrass are all heavy feeders. When it comes to nutrients to feed them in the soil, our sandy soils don't always hold onto the nutrients they need. What can we do to so the nutrients are there when the grass needs them?

If the lawn is looking tired and worn out, but there doesn't seem to be an insect or disease problem, then soil health may be the key issue that needs to be addressed. Topdressing with compost increases organic matter in the soil, which in turn helps improve soil health.

Come learn not only how to topdress the lawn, but why it can make the difference between a tired looking lawn with little vigor and a lawn that looks ready for anything.
