About this Event
All year long we gaze longingly at the neat rows of mature Bordeaux, cult Burgundy, regal Barolo and sublime Chablis, all just waiting to find a loving home. We wish we could open these bottles with you all the time but we are often foiled by tiny allocations and lofty prices, so once a year we make sure to spoil a crowd of tasters with the kind of wines that create memories for a lifetime.
Some call them 'unicorn wines', some of the producers are considered 'icons', we just call it a privilege to share the world's greatest bottles with you. Why not give yourself the best Christmas gift – the opportunity to climb with us to the absolute pinnacle of what wine can offer.
Expect the very best of the best, served up with the choicest charcuterie, yummiest cheese and, of course, the most delicious cakes. We want the finest wines available to humanity, and we want them now!
Our shop tastings start at 7.30pm and run for approximately one-and-a-half to two hours. We will taste 6-8 wines on a theme, and bread, cheese and charcuterie is provided to match with the wines. Due to the communal nature of the tasting, we are unable to cater for dietary requirements.
