A fun, relaxing approach to creativity.
About this Event

This workshop offers tools from somatic (body awareness based) and expressive arts therapies as well as mindfulness to support you to explore your relationship with both your inner critic and inner inspiration. Participate in guided visualizations, somatic grounding, and painting exercises to deepen your understanding of what fuels your creativity and how to effectively work with inner criticism. This workshop offers a fun, relaxing approach to creativity. Soothing and generative guided visualizations support regulating the nervous system and accessing a flow state of presence. No art experience is necessary and the emphasis will be on the experience rather than the product created. While not therapy, this workshop offers useful tools for self-growth. Please wear comfortable clothing. If you have them, bring water based paints and paper. Supplies will also be provided if needed.
