TONY'S TRAINS 10TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT! To celebrate our 10th year in business we have teamed up with Mountsorrel Heritage Centre (Swithland Lane, nr Loughborough, LE7 7UE) to bring you a Tony's Trains Special Event on May 10th & 11th 2025! May 11th actually marks 10 years to the day since Tony signed the contract to buy what was then Barby Model Rail!
The event will run from 10:00-16:00 each day and admission to the site will be £2.50. The event will feature the following:
DRIVER FOR A FIVER! Drive resident locomotive Colin McAndrew with your favourite model shop owner Tony, who is a qualified loco driver at Mountsorrel (age restrictions apply)
Narrow Gauge Railway running, ride the 2' Gauge Railway on site (additional charge applies)
Small Model Railway Exhibition inside the Railway Museum featuring around half a dozen layouts, including Lawrie's Mechanical Marvels Modular Layout & Jordan Morris' Sutton Bank TMD (more layouts to be announced soon!)
Manufacturers & Special Guests in attendance too! (more details to be announced soon!)
