About the Authors
Tonya Todd explores the infinite hues of what drives us all: relationships and desires. As an author, actress, and activist, Tonya is invested in fair representation in the literary and cinematic worlds she inhabits. Her anti-censorship series Banned Books Conversations highlights a variety of restricted books to help preserve our right to read. She is co-editor and contributor for Comics Lit, Volume 1, author of 52 Love: Weekly Love Lessons in Bite-Sized Bits, and co-host of Femme On Podcast. Her forthcoming book, 52 Love: A Year of Romance – Volume One, a collection of short stories inspired by the first thirteen tips in the original, is now available for pre-order.
Wendy Wimmer is an author and editor living in Wisconsin. Her debut short story collection Entry Level: Stories received the 2021 Autumn House Fiction Prize from judge Deesha Philyaw. She received a Black Mountain Institute fellowship and doctorate from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. Her novel The Doomscroll Companion was a finalist for the AWP James McPherson 2024 Award, and will be forthcoming from University of Wisconsin Press in Fall 2026.
