Join the Tongue-Tied Trainers In-Person Meeting from 12:00-1:00 PM at FSI in room C-3109 (above the cafeteria). Meetings are open to anyone who wants to attend (including contractors, direct hires, family members, and friends of FSI employees). The Tongue-Tied Trainers is the chapter of Toastmasters International that runs out of the U.S. Department of State's Foreign Service Institute in Arlington, Virginia. Our Distinguished Club was chartered in 2014, and we hold meetings twice a month, usually on the 2nd Wednesday at 12:00 PM virtually through Zoom (email for log-in info) and on the 4th Wednesday at 12:00 PM in-person at FSI (email [email protected] in advance if you don't have access to FSI). As a club meeting at a federal government facility, access to the Foreign Service Institute requires a Department of State badge or pre-registration for non-badge-holders who must contact the club first for visitor access to the FSI campus.
The Tongue-Tied Trainers website offers a closer look at our club and includes a video overview of how Toastmasters can help you in your professional growth! Join our Facebook Group to connect with the club and other members. We also have a Tongue-Tied Trainers Teams Group (for those with DOS Teams) where we share information about upcoming clubs and events.
