🏕 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙: 25 𝙏𝙚 𝘼𝙧𝙖𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙞 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙩, 𝙏𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙞
Following the success of our Walk for Health programme, NRNA New Zealand invites you to join a 3-day camping and hiking experience at one of New Zealand’s most iconic alpine walks. Participants will complete the Tongariro Alpine Crossing from one end to the other and stay at the campground for two nights.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐍𝐑𝐍𝐀 𝐍𝐙 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞:
✔ Campground booking
✔ Bus transport from one end of the crossing to the other
(we are also exploring the option of using our own pool vehicle.)
✔ BBQ dinners on Friday & Saturday evenings
Entry fee: $75
Spaces are limited – first-come, first-served
𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼:

✅ Walk for Health Step Challenge participants
✅ Regular walkers
✅ Other interested participants (everyone welcome to submit their expression of interest)
𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬:
• Good fitness required – this is a challenging alpine walk
• Bring layers, hiking boots, sun protection, snacks, and at least 2L of water
• The area is sacred to Māori – stay on marked tracks and respect the environment
• 🚫 No dogs, bikes, or drones
