Tone It Down: Still Life in Muted Colour (drawing) for 9 – 14-year-olds

Friday 10 October

1pm – 3pm with artist and educator Sharon Mearing

Cost: $22 + booking fee

Young artists will explore the subtle beauty of muted colour palettes inspired by Mitch Cairns’s exhibition Restless Legs. Using coloured pencils and pastels, students will create expressive still life drawings that reflect Cairns’ distinctive style. It’s a great opportunity to slow down, observe closely, and enjoy the process of making.

Please note:

• At least 8 participants are required to run this workshop.
• We will cancel the workshop by 1pm the day before if the minimum participants to proceed with the workshop are not met. Participants will be contacted via email.
• Tickets are non-transferrable. If you no longer need your ticket, please contact us to arrange a refund.
• Please make sure your child wears fully enclosed shoes and clothes suitable for painting, as they may get messy.
