Come and audition for our two upcoming shows in 2025! Our main show is Tomb with a View by Norman Robbins.
Synopsis: A Tomb With A View is set in as sinister an old library as one is likely to come across presided over by a portrait of a grim faced, mad eyed old man. There, a dusty, lawyer reads a will (involving some millions of pounds) to an equally sinister family one member of which has were wolf tendencies, another wanders around in a toga of Julius Caesar and a third member is a gentle old lady who plants more than seeds in her flower beds. By the third act, there are more corpses than live members left in the cast and what about the sympathetic nurse and the author of romantic novels are they all, or more than, they seem to be? All is revealed as the plot twists and turns to its surprising conclusion.
There are ten roles (4m and 6f) this show is taking place at The Bear Pit Theatre and will be running from the 30th April - 3rd May 2025.
The second play we're auditioning for is a Festival Entry into the Stratford Upon Avon Festival and Lighthorne One act Festival. This play looks at the tricky subject of restorative justice. Content warning: sexual abuse.
Cast required: one young male (about university age), young couple (1m & 1f) late 20s early 30s and then an older couple (old enough to have a son in uni). The festivals are running 9th April - 12th April and June 3rd -7th. The show will be performed once in both weeks.
