Join local farmer and avid cook, Farley Walker, as she shares some of her favorite recipes highlighting the mighty tomato. After all, one must make the most of tomatoes in the summer, when they are sun kissed and dripping with real flavor (as opposed to store-bought imitations the rest of the year). From a simple sandwich to a Napoli pasta, to tomato pie and tomato jam… attendees will learn how to make dishes and then sample the final products.Attendees will be invited to take part in a tomato tasting to choose their favorites. If Mother Nature cooperates, they will also take home some of Farley’s tomatoes.
