Strange News presents one very special Tāmaki Makaurau show for Taite Music Prize finalist Tom Lark before he crosses the dateline to conquer the UK. Having been invited to perform at the iconic Great Escape Festival after impressing its booker with a particularly stellar performance at Going Global last year, Tom Lark and his likely lads will play a string of UK dates across May. Rounding out this intrepid trio will be multi-instrumentalist James McDonald (Beachware), and drummer James Dansey (Thee Golden Geese), with both providing the kinds of backing vocal harmonies that’d make the angels blush.
