Our life path is not linear, we come face crossroads and once you decide on a new direction, it's vital to review the steps we walked, and the impact they left on our energy field. Using the element of breath, the recapitulation liberates energy stuck in one's perception of the past.Adrian Naxolt will introduce the Toltekayotl, Nawalism and The Toltek Recapitulation to then proceed to to a series of Kinam (Toltek Yoga) and Magical Passes. Last part will be The Recapitulation.
This workshop will be divided in 3 parts:
•Introduction to Toltekayotl and Nawalism
•• Kinam (Toltek Yoga) and Magical Passes
••• The Toltek Recapitulation
To simplify, we can say that Toltekayotl in Mexico is what Hinduism is in India or what Taoism is in China. Toltekayotl is most commonly known as Toltek Wisdom.
Nawalism is Shamanism with the specific characteristics of the ancient cultures of Mexico.
Kinam, also known as Toltek Yoga, is an ancestral technology from ancient Mexico, its defined as "an art to harmonize body and spirit". Kinam consists of power postures, conscious breathing, hand gestures and techniques to expand perception. It's origin traces back to the birth of civilization in Mesoamerica thousands of years ago, its intent is to connect, balance and strengthen mind, body and spirit.
From the Magical Passes book:
The magical passes were not invented. They were discovered by the shamans of don Juan's lineage who lived in Mexico in ancient times, while they were in shamanistic states of heightened awareness. The discovery of the magical passes was quite accidental. It began as very simple queries about the nature of an incredible sensation of well-being that those shamans experienced in those states of heightened awareness when they held certain bodily posi-tions, or when they moved their limbs in some specific manner. Their sensation of well-being had been so intense that their drive to repeat those movements in their normal awareness became the focus of all their endeavors.
The Recapitulation
As we walk our lives, we're experiencing energy exchanges that are shaping one's form, the form we perceive reality.
One's culture, family, geographic location... are all leaving an impact on one's energy field. Using the element of breath, recapitulating liberates energy stuck in one's perception of the past. The Nawals recapitulates their lives to offer their experiences back to the source and recycle that energy to keep walking the path of the Warrior, a path that demands a high level of energy.
Carlos Castaneda:
The Toltek Recapitulation was a practice discovered by Nawals of ancient Mexico, and used by Shamans from then on, to view and rexperience the events their lives, in order to achieve two transcendental goals: one, the abstract goal of fulfilling a universal code that demands that awareness must be relinquish at the moment of death; and two, the extremely pragmatic goal of acquiring perceptual fluidity.
