About this Event
This 90-minute tour, aimed at tamariki ages 7-17, takes a journey through the Parliamentary collection to explore the voices and stories of important groups in Aotearoa’s history. Through imaginative and creative discussion of a selection of works, young participants will gain an understanding of how women’s suffrage, migration and Māori representation have been celebrated at Parliament and how these works contribute to our diverse and ever-changing community. No prior art history knowledge necessary, this tour is all about discovery and sharing ideas!
