National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW) observed annually in April is a week-long initiative led by the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) that aims to honor crime victims raise awareness about their rights and services and recognize the professionals and volunteers who support them.
The event titled "Together We Rise" will be held at Baker Park in Naples on Saturday April 12th form 6:30 AM - 12:00 PM. This is a non-timed event and placement will not be recorded. But don’t worry—we still have some exciting awards to recognize participants!
Justice Champion Award – Fastest Male Finisher
Hope Runner Award – Fastest Female Finisher
Beacon of Hope Award – Celebrating the team/group with the most participants
Hero of the Race Award – Acknowledging an Outstanding Volunteer Supporter or Partner
Project HELP works with dignity and compassion to ease the pain of those affected by rape violence crime or loss of a loved one due to a crime. Since 1986 Project HELP has been a cornerstone of support in Collier County dedicated to assisting survivors of rape violence crime and sudden loss due to crime. Our comprehensive services include advocacy counseling support groups and judicial accompaniment all provided confidentially and at no cost. Through our outreach program we not only bring awareness to our essential services but also engage the community in education and prevention efforts. By addressing both immediate needs and long-term recovery Project HELP remains committed to fostering healing and resilience in our community
