The SOS Marysville Food Pantry was born in 2010. At that time, a need in our community was recognized and we jumped into action. Since day one we have been dedicated to help provide food for individuals and families in a way that preserves their dignity and provides a confidential environment during times of financial stress. We have generously been supported over the years through many grants that have supported our mission of helping those in the community. Unfortunately, this year those grants have not come through to help us continue our mission, so we are once again jumping into action to find the financial support we need to continue our mission as the needs of our community have only grown exponentially year after year.
We are very excited to present our upcoming event “Together We Can Fight Hunger”. This event aims to raise awareness of the needs of our community and the funds to allow us to help alleviate hunger within our community by providing access to food and programs such as SOS Marysville Food Pantry, Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway, the Community Christmas Dinner and the senior program Golden Hearts.
