Together: the story of Gay Heroes and why you never heard of them

Come and join Henk at the Het Parool Theater for an inspiring event celebrating the incredible stories of gay heroes told now from a queer perspective. Henk is the founder of the LGBT Gay History Tour of Amsterdam for 7 years now he takes many people from the community ona 400 year journey where historical facts are mixed with stories, anecdotes and the tale of the gay family. He has now taking his story to the stage. During Pride, one night only he will tell the story of gay resistence fighters in WWII. But why do we not now this story, how come another story was told?

As Henk always says, its time for a different narrative and the future of history is diverse and inclusive. Be proud of the community we belong to and our shared history.
