We would love you to join us at Claudelands in Kirikiriroa Hamilton, to be part of a multi-cultural, intergenerational gathering of the four nations of our territory—Together Congress 2025!We last met together as a territory for a congress in 2019. Over this time, the world and the global church has changed dramatically. Our own four nations have seen upheavals in our communities and how people respond to faith and the Church.
The Salvation Army in this territory has responded to these changes with innovation and God’s love. This has been hard and exciting at the same time, so next year is the opportunity for us to celebrate and enjoy each other’s company. It is also an opportunity to give thanks to God and together explore his plan for our future.
Our guest speakers for congress are General Lyndon Buckingham and Commissioner Bronwyn Buckingham, leaders of the international Salvation Army, who will share their heart on mission and ministry in the 21st century.
At Together Congress 2025, we will gather to worship together, serve together and learn together. We will experience God together and pray for his Spirit to overflow in us so we can be equipped and strengthened in our service to him, which is an extension of our territorial vision statement: ‘Together we live out the good news of Jesus Christ so that everyone can experience hope, wholeness and ongoing transformation—the fullness of life as God intended’.
