NAAAAAAAMASTE!

Welcome to Toddler Goat Yoga at Flowertown Charm in collaboration with Charleston Toddlers and class led by Krista Vera!

We were the first to bring GOAT YOGA here to the Lowcountry since 2018, and now we are offering a class to down "goat" with toddlers too! OH MY GOATNESS! It is as fun as it sounds! Our goats roam around, cuddle, and play, all while your toddler is in kid friendly yoga poses.

Follow us @flowertowncharm to see what babies we have at the farm!

We have dwarf goats, mini cows, fancy chickens, giant tortoise, fluffy bunnies, and mini donkey at our urban farm in Summerville. This Toddler Goat Yoga Class will include a little time after for some pictures and snuggles. We do ask that toddlers do not run, chase, or scream after the animals, and no fingers in any animals mouths please. Ages 18M-7 YEARS. Mats are provided as well.

THINGS TO KNOW:

We ask you wear close toes shoes, bring water or drinks if you wish, but please no outside food, the animals will take it.

Please don't arrive more than 15 minutes early, we sometimes have back to back events and want every guest to have their time with the animals.

*IMPORTANT: PARKING is limited here at "Flowertown Charm" and is designated for disabled or overnight staying guests. The church 2 doors down, allows our guests to park in their extra lot. So please park at the church in the basketball court extra parking lot at 255 Stallsville (Loop) Rd. DO NOT park at the endodontics parking lot or the main church lot, they will tow you. After you park at the church basketball lot, walk to our farmhouse on 225 Stallsville (Corner of Stallsville & Long Needle Lane), use GPS or look for a Historic White House with Red shutters and Black Fountain with a white Goat Sign out front. Use the white gates on the left side of the house with the farm sign to enter the farm yard. Please close and latch gates behind you. We will come greet you when you arrive!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Goat Yoga?

Goat Yoga is a gentle class combining the benefits of yoga with the fun-loving connection with goats. Goats are silly creatures that will bring you joy and laughter all while calming your soul and de-stressing your body and mind.

Do you offer PRIVATE CLASSES?

ABSOLUTELY! We have held many private classes here for BACHELORETTE PARTIES, BIRTHDAYS, TEAM BUILDING, and FAMILY REUNIONS! Checkout our website for more info

Where is the class held?

The class is held at “Flowertown Charm Farm” which is our personal historic home, farm stay & urban mini-farm in the heart of Summerville, SC. Class is outdoors.

What makes your goat yoga class different from others?

When we decided to start Goat Yoga here in the Charleston area back in 2018, we did a lot of research and months of planning. Goats are just cute and curious naturally. And when they are raised to be friendly, they are perfect for this type of activity! Our goats ars some of the friendliest you will ever meet! And when we incorporate that with a full yoga class, you can have a workout while you're being distracted by their silliness! But most of all what makes us different is being in a beautiful environment so you can de-stress and enjoy. Smiling on the inside and out! So although we are on a small-scale farm, we think you will get more out of our class than most others

Is there a bathroom?

YES!

What breeds of goats do you have?

We have Nigerian Dwarf Goats.Which are some the smallest goats you can have. Under 50lbs full grown.

Do you have other animals on the mini-farm?

YES! We have chickens, bunnies, barn cats, a giant tortoise, mini donkey, cows, and farm dogs! We also have bee hives on our mini-farm. They are behind a separate fenced area and should not bother the class.

Do your goats bite or headbutt?

Our goats do headbutt each other when playing and showing off. They don't bite, but they are curious and sometimes nibble on clothes, hair, and fingers, so although it is cute, just pull away if you do not want a haircut! Also, their back teeth are very sharp, so please do not allow them to nibble too deep on your fingers! OUCH! We do have one goat that will headbutt screaming or rowdy children...

Will there be poop?

YES! But goats poops are very small “berry” like pellets that don’t smoosh, are odorless, and you can simply shake it away off your mat into the grass. Or we can get a fresh mat if needed. We clean up the yard right before class, and during class, but there will be poop during class, sh*t happens y'all! ;) This is a farm.

Will there be hand sanitizer?

Absolutely!

Are there any baby goats?

We typically ave babies every spring and fall, follow our social media to see the latest baby upates!

What if it is a rainy or stormy day?

We may have to reschedule the class as goats HATE the rain!

Do you sell any goods from your mini-farm?

Yes! We sell farm fresh eggs, goats milk soaps, honey, soy candles, goat greeting cards, and other home & gift items we sell here at Flowertown Charm.

Are there refunds?

Yes we can refund before the class if needed, or reschedule.

Anything else I should know?

If you are allergic to bees, please bring an Epi-pen or allergy medicine with you, just in case. We have never had a guest get stung, but we would rather be safe than sorry! The bees are in a separate area, but we never know when one might come in the yard.
