About this Event
This event is kicking off the year for The Coalition to Increase Teachers of Color and American Indian Teachers in Minnesota. The Coalition to Increase Teachers of Color and American Indian Teachers in Minnesota unites over 1,500 individuals and organizations to address the lack of diversity in the state's teaching force. It focuses on raising awareness about this issue, advocating for policy changes through the Increase Teachers of Color Act, and creating affinity spaces for teachers of color and allies.
This event is designed to engage participants in critical conversation while forming connections. We will gather to build community and commit to action!
Allies and accomplices are welcome! CEUs offered upon request. Registration and check-in begins at 9:30am.
