Toby Driver to kompozytor i multiinstrumentalista, który porusza się pomiędzy gatunkami. Najbardziej znany z eksperymentalnych zespołów metalowych Kayo Dot i Maudlin of the Well, jest „niestrudzenie pomysłowym artystą nagrywającym” (PopMatters) z ponad 20-letnią karierą. Jego twórczość - impresjonistyczna, przestrzenna i emocjonalnie wrażliwa - została opisana jako „niepodobna do żadnej innej” (The Quietus), prezentując „szerszą wizję tego, jak muzyka może wywoływać uczucia zarówno wielkie, jak i druzgocąco intymne”. (Vice/Noisey). Jego różnorodne projekty łączy wrażliwa i zorientowana na szczegóły kompozycja, od metafizycznej po awangardową, oraz nienasycone poszukiwanie nowego: „nie ma absolutnie nic, z czym można by to porównać”. Toby i jego zespół zaprezentują muzykę z trzech balladowych albumów Toby'ego: Madonnawhore z 2016 roku, They Are the Shield z 2018 roku oraz najnowszego wydawnictwa z 2024 roku, Raven, I Know That You Can Give Me Anything. Występ otworzy pochodzący z Tbilisi brytyjski autor tekstów Nick Hudson.

Toby Driver is a composer and multi-instrumentalist who navigates between genres. Best known for his experimental metal bands Kayo Dot and maudlin of the Well, he is “a tirelessly inventive recording artist” (PopMatters) with a prolific career of over 20 years. His work–– impressionistic, architectural and emotionally vulnerable––has been described as “unlike any other” (The Quietus), displaying “A greater vision of how music can evoke feelings both grandiose and devastatingly intimate.” (Vice/Noisey). His multifarious projects share a sensitive and detail oriented composition ranging from the metaphysical to the avant-garde, and an insatiable search for the new: there's “absolutely nothing to compare it against.” (Echoes and Dust)
Toby and his band will present music from Toby's trio of ballads albums: 2016's Madonnawhore, 2018's They Are the Shield, and the newest release from 2024, Raven, I Know That You Can Give Me Anything. Opening up the show is Tbilisi-based British songwriter Nick Hudson.
