Join Voces Novae chamber choir for another one of our explorations of Indiana History. This program will look at the "Moon Shot" through the story of astronaut Gus Grissom, a native of Mitchell.How do we even imagine such a goal? And how many details need to line up to accomplish it? Another Hoosier, mathematician Margaret Hamilton developed the "human-in-the-loop" decision capability software that helped make it possible. With music by David Bowie, Laura Farnell, Meredith Monk, Jacob Narverud, Jacques Offenbach, Giovanni Palestrina, Andrea Ramsey, and Richard Strauss. Featuring handmade crankies by Sam Bartlett.
Two FREE performances at 3:00 and 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 25 at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington, IN. Donations accepted at the door. The concert will last just under an hour. Come join us, whether you've never heard Voces Novae before or are a lifetime groupie!
