Atlanta Freedom Bands takes you back to the joyous holiday memories of youth. Our program is filled with music that evokes the senses of fun, joy, and wonder that accompanies this special time of year. Whether you enjoy watching holiday specials, waiting for a rooftop visit from Santa’s sleigh, or winning as you spin the dreidel, our concert has something special for you!The concert celebrates the 20th anniversary of our AFB Concert Band, so we had to invite special guests. We are thrilled to welcome back Olive d’Nightlife and Agatha Boogie, Atlanta’s favorite comedy drag duo, to host our concert. They left us in stitches at our March concert, so we can’t wait to see them again!
The concert also features a new work from our Student Composer Residency Program. We will welcome Bert Agripino, a student at the University of West Georgia, for a performance of his new work “Starbound”.
