Discover the history of photography and compositional framing with artist John Baker in this two hour workshop at the Mennello Museum of American Art.
As a faculty member in the Photography Program at Crealdé School of Art, John Baker shares his love and knowledge of film photography in both youth and adult classes, guiding artists young and old in the processes of creating traditional black and white images from capture to print. Baker was the featured artist of a 2019 solo exhibition at the Mennello Museum of American Art titled "Mind/Wealth." A consummate exhibitor in and supporter of the Central Florida art scene and recipient of many best-in-show awards, Baker holds two B.A. degrees in Arts and Sciences from the University of Central Florida. He has served at Crealdé School of Art in varying capacities for two decades, and has a studio at FAVO in Orlando.
$30 Members; $35 Future Members. Participants should bring their own cameras or cell phones for activities. This is a beginner friendly, all-levels workshop.
