Aldo Leopold, the Land Ethic, and A Sand County Almanac: The makings of a movement Our guest speaker, Buddy Huffaker has served as Executive Director of the Aldo Leopold Foundation since 1999. During his tenure he has spear-headed efforts to: protect the Leopold Shack and Farm as a National Historic Landmark; construct the LEED Platinum Aldo Leopold Legacy Center out of trees planted by the Leopold Family; and produce the Emmy Award-winning documentary "GreenFire" (watch for free at at https://www.aldoleopold.org/teach-learn/digital-resources/#Green-Fire ).
Please join Buddy as he provides a quick biographical sketch of Aldo Leopold and then focus on the people and events that have kept "A Sand County Almanac" and the call for a Land Ethic as relevant as ever.
