Come celebrate 20 years of God's goodness to TMSO at our Legacy Concert! Our theme for the spring is "A Symphonic Legacy, by God's Grace," and the repertoire will reflect the legacy (both past and future) of the orchestra.
We will give a nod to TMSO's roots with four hymns & some singing, as well as a piece by Leroy Anderson (one of our founder's favorite composers) that features ... a TYPEWRITER!
We will also look ahead to the future legacy of TMSO with a performance of Bruch's Violin Concerto by TMSO's 2025 Young Artists Concerto Competition winner, Jun Izumi. (The Lord has blessed the orchestra over the years & enabled TMSO to host a scholarship contest as an encouragement to up-and-coming young local musicians.)
Finally, a newly commissioned piece by local composer Maria Lord-Kniveton will tie past and future legacies together as she tells the story of her family's legacy through a unique contemporary style of music.
We hope you'll add this incredible concert to your calendar, and we look forward to seeing you there. Admission is free. However, donations are greatly appreciated. Children are always welcome! Physical tickets are not required for admittance.
