In preparing for TMSO’s 20th anniversary season, Music Director Travis Cook reflected on music performed over the past 19 years. He noted that music can be many different things to many different people. This fall, he will pick up his baton and lead audiences on an emotional journey that offers answers to what "Music Is..." Concerts will feature:
“Music is Art” - Mussorgsky's Pictures at An Exhibition
“Music is Expression” - Stephanie Ann Boyd's Four Future Memories (string feature)
“Music is a Voice for the voiceless” - Sibelius's Finlandia
“Music is Worship” - (TMSO musician) Tim Parsons's Great is Thy Faithfulness
"Music is the Heart’s Cry" - Bruch's Kol Nidrei
You won't want to miss this beautiful evening. Concert admission is free (however, donations are gratefully accepted). All concerts are casual & family-friendly. Children are welcome.
