Formed in 2018, the Tivadar Varga Trio - Tivadar Varga (piano), Ferenc Gayer (double bass), and János Weszely (drums) - are graduates of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music of Budapest. Their music blends the elegance of classic jazz with the energy of groove, swing, and modern rhythm, drawing inspiration from Oscar Peterson while creating a sound that is uniquely their own.The concert will feature music from their album "Sunrise Nocturne" released this year, alongside jazz standards and moments of improvisation.
