TITLE TOWN is back on Saturday, November 2nd with another round of heavy sounds. Join us at Spirit for Pittsburgh’s longest running dance party featuring DJs spinning five hours of grooves from the deep - ‘60s and Northern Soul, deep funk, classic Motown, feel-good disco, vintage R&B, Latin soul and more. All vinyl, all original 45s.
Founded and curated by DJ’s J.Malls and Gordy G, TITLE TOWN is known for its consistent, electrifying and feel-good atmosphere and iconic sounds from influential record labels such as Stax and Chess mixed with hand-selected 45 RPM rarities from regional soul scenes around the U.S. - including a healthy share of songs from the Pittsburgh area that disappeared without a trace, but are well worth another shot at dance floor fame.
"We started TITLE TOWN 15 years ago with a simple mission: to share our passion for this music with others who feel the same," said co-founder DJ Gordy Greenawalt. "What began as a small party in East Liberty has grown into something truly special—a community of music lovers, dancers, vinyl heads, who come together to dance, sweat, and celebrate the music that moves us."
