About the Show:
[Title of Show] is a hilarious and heartfelt musical that chronicles the journey of two writers and their friends as they create a musical about creating a musical. This one-act celebration of collaboration, creativity, and friendship is both quirky and inspiring.
Content appropriate for Ages 18+
Roles:
Hunter: A passionate writer with a love for theater. Baritenor.
Jeff: A composer and lyricist. Thoughtful, quirky, and creative. Tenor.
Heidi: A seasoned performer with a powerhouse voice. Mezzo-Soprano.
Susan: Witty, sarcastic, and unfiltered. Mezzo-Soprano/Alto.
Audition Requirements:
Prepare 32-64 bar cut from an up tempo, contemporary musical theatre song.
You will need to supply your own backing tracks on a device that can connect to speaker via Bluetooth or standard aux connection.
Be prepared to do a cold read following singing.
Callbacks will be held February 23rd if needed.
