This very well-known reserve is a ‘Mecca’ for winter species with so much to see during a late winter visit from divers to waders, ducks to geese, and grebes to raptors. We'll be looking for species including Golden Plover, Bearded Reedling, Brambling, Snow Bunting, Shorelark, Woodcock and Water Rail. Not to be missed! THE COACH WILL DEPART FROM CHELMSFORD ONLY AT 07:00
Coach trips cost £25 per person, with accompanied juniors under the age of 18 travelling free. An entrance charge applies to some venues and reserves for non-members of RSPB, WWT, Wildlife Trusts, etc.
To avoid disappointing anyone on a waiting list, non-attended coach bookings (without 24hrs cancellation notice) will incur the full trip cost. Some of the sites we visit will have a visitor centre with facilities and refreshments available, although you may wish to bring your own food and drink if you'd rather stay out and not return to the centre.
