Titan Games Champaign Annual Used Board Games Sale 2024Sale Details for Buyers:
The sale takes place Saturday, October 12th 10am - 8pm and Sunday, October 13th noon-6pm.
Because these items are being sold on a consignment basis and do not belong to Titan Games, store credit may not be used to purchase them.
All purchases are subject to 9% sales tax at time of purchase.
All Used Board Games Sale items are sold as-is and sales for such items are final.
No items will be reserved.
Some of the items will be discounted on Sunday. Sellers may set a discounted price for Sunday if they want. Both the Saturday and Sunday price is posted on each game at the beginning of the sale.
Sale Details for Sellers:
Payment - Sellers will receive 90% of the pre-tax price of all sold games as store credit on the Monday or Tuesday after the conclusion of the sale.
Drop-off - Titan Games Champaign will accept games from sellers between Monday, October 7th and Wednesday, October 9th from the hours of 1pm to 9pm. Sellers should follow the instructions on the online seller sheet (link at the bottom of these details) and email the sheet to Titan Games Champaign according to the instructions by the time the games are dropped off. Staff will not accept games not accompanied by a correctly completed and emailed seller sheet, so please carefully read and follow all of the instructions.
Pick-Up - We ask sellers to pick up their unsold games in the few days after the sale - Monday, October 14th - Friday, October 18th. Unsold games that have not been claimed by Sunday, October 27th will be disposed of by Titan Games. For picked up games, sellers should be able to remove price tags without damage. A blow dryer can help in loosening adhesive to prevent damage to a game. Titan Games is not responsible for any ordinary wear and tear of games while in our possession.
Pricing Games - For most items, sellers can price items however they want. However, sellers may not charge more than 50% of MSRP for any game that is being sold new on the shelf at Titan Games. Our staff is happy to help sellers with any necessary changes at check-in.
Saturday and Sunday Pricing - Sellers may decide to price their games differently on Saturday and Sunday (in other words, some sellers decide to discount their games for the second day). Note: The Saturday and Sunday prices will both be listed on the price tag for the games prior to the start of the event on Saturday. Staff will not change game prices after the price tags have been printed.
Limit - We allow all sellers to bring up to 20 games each for the Used Board Games Sale. Sellers who wish to bring more than the limit should contact the Titan Games Champaign managers at [email protected] or by asking a manager when calling the store. Permission will not be granted on the spot. We usually have a better idea closer to Wednesday whether we will have more room for games from some sellers or not.
Condition - All games must be complete. Games should be in fair condition or better. Heavily played games and games in poor or damaged condition may be refused for the sale.
Refusal of Items - Sellers should expect items that are not board games to be refused by Titan Games staff. In addition to condition, Titan Games reserves the right to refuse a game or remove a game from the sale for any reason. Games that have been removed from the sale can still be picked up with other unsold games after the conclusion of the sale. No blind or grab bag games will be accepted. The only lots that will be accepted are a game and expansions for that game and similar lots.
Limited Space - If Titan Games receives more games than can be displayed at the beginning of the sale, it is up to the discretion of the staff which games will wait to be displayed until adequate space is available. Staff will attempt to add any games not initially displayed to the sale at the earliest available time.
