FREE WELLNESS WORKSHOP DURING BPD AWARENESS WEEK & MENTAL HEALTH MONTH
Lived Experience Driven & DBT Inspired:
This event is designed & being run by someone who lives with BPD for others living with BPD. However this is open to anyone & everyone.
Inspired by DBT Skills & Mindfulness practices this event is an opportunity to connect with other like minded people while also bringing along a family member/friend or two.
What to Expect:
The event has been designed to suit all ages levels & personality types. Like all of Deep Seas' services & events this event is judgement-free & welcoming where you are made to feel calm included & appreciated.
Here you will get a brief intro about BPD Awareness Week Mental Health Month & Deep Seas.
You will also get a teaser to a DBT skill called TIPP.
PLEASE NOTE: this skill does require willingness to participate in some form of exercise & you will potentially get wet during the activity so a change of clothes or at least a towel is encouraged to be brought along.
Please know there is no right or wrong way in participating & it is dependent to each person's capacity.
After the teaser you will also get a chance to participate in creating your own distress tolerance shaker & recieve your very own wellbeing toolkit designed & created for YOU by El.
Please bring along a bottle of water a picnic rug or chair & your facemask.

Accessibility: Physical exercise is required for this event & is currently not wheelchair accessible. However an accessible version is available if you wish to participate in a modified version of the TIPP activity in a more accessible space.
