Brandnetel started in 2021 following an encounter between Kick Huender and Sara van der Valkat at the DHZ fietswerkplaats. In their improvisations, philosophy and music meld together. Noise and melody unite in a chaotic, mysterious and emotional whole.

Riccardo Santalucia (b.1994, Milan) is a multimedia artists based in Rotterdam working with moving-images and sound. Using self-developed software for digital media processing, his research deploys algorithms and engages with both their aesthetic and theoretical implications.

Most recently he presented the lecture performance ‘No Flag No Wind’ at‘V2_Lab for the Unstable Media (Rotterdam, 2023), the audiovisual performance ‘Myein’ in collaboration with Gloria Dorliguzzo at Reiefestival (Bruges, 2023) and curated the sound design for ACABADABRA, a performance by Venice collective EXTRAGARBO (Rome, 2024). In 2021 he curated the sound design for the short film Skin/Out by Gloria Dorliguzzo, which won the prize for best experimental film at the Around International Film Festival // Barcelona (ES) and Cinedans FEST in Amsterdam (NL).
