Are you looking to discuss books with a like-minded group of readers?Join the Tiny Raccoon Book Club where we will be covering books every other month ranging from classics to contemporary to sci-fi! We will dig into themes, writing style, character arcs, symbolism and more.
Lauren Albergo will host our next meeting Wednesday September where we will be discussing Bluebeard by Kurt Vonnegut.
Bluebeard is a 1975 fictional autobiography about Rabo Karabekian, a former abstract artist living a solitary life in the Hamptons. He meets a beautiful young widow, Circe, who promptly moves in with him and encourages him to write about his life. He has a secret locked in the potato barn behind his house and Circe wants to know what it is.
Deadline to RSVP is August 1st. To partake in book club, you have to buy the book from the store. We will have books ready for pick up from the store in early August and will notify you via email. Thanks and we are looking forward to hosting the book club!
