About this Event
*Please note that the workshop will not take place at Oyoun, but in the courtyard of the Gemeinschaftshaus Gropiussstadt (Bat-Yam-Platz 1, 12353 Berlin).*
In this workshop we will explore the challenges of conventional portfolio practices with a digital emphasis by capturing experiences visually, audibly and graphically. Our aim is to deconstruct linear time, migration narratives and disciplinary boundaries and unpack power dynamics, colonial influences, and dehumanization in art systems. Activities involve defining practice pillars, connecting mediums, processes, and context, in order for artist portfolios become communication tools for change. This workshop is limited to eight FLINTA participants of color.
