Tiny Hands, Big Focus: A 4-Week After-School Fine Motor Program

This fun and engaging 4-week club is designed for children ages 4–5 to build strong hands, improve fine motor skills, and develop focus and self-regulation in a supportive environment. Each session is led by a pediatric occupational therapist, who brings expertise in childhood development and fine motor skill growth. Children begin in a private, calm classroom engaging in therapist-guided activities carefully designed to strengthen hand muscles, improve coordination, and encourage patience and attention.
After the focused fine motor session, children transition to open-play in the indoor gym to explore gross motor activities that enhance balance, coordination, and body awareness. This combination of small and large motor experiences supports overall motor development and helps children apply self-regulation skills in dynamic, playful settings.
At the end of the class series, children will combine the skills they’ve learned to create a proud final project, celebrating their creativity, focus, and fine motor achievements—all while building confidence for a successful start in kindergarten.
