Schedule your time frame with sittings beginning at 9am to have your portrait taken by photographer Dale Bernstein for a tintype portrait--a one-of-a-kind photograph created using the historic wet plate collodion process. Unlike modern digital photography, this technique requires the plate to be coated, sensitized, exposed, and developed within minutes—all before it dries. The result? A rich, silvery, and slightly otherworldly image that will last for generations.Participants will be photographed and then invited into the darkroom to see the developing process to create a tintype. Finished portraits will be carefully varnished and ready for pickup within a week.
